Pandora's Box
Pandora's Box Over the course of the last year i found myself stuck in a rut. My life was wondering aimlessly in no particular direction. I was in school heading towards a major tht seemed more and more irrevelant in the 20th century. Financial struggles eventually forced me out of school altogether, destablizing the little bit of a grasp i had on this thing called life. At one point i sAt in the basement of my mothers house, lacking both a job and a complete education, and no where near streetworthy to hustle my way to top. I waSnt Athlatically gifted enuff to turn sports into a skill and my rap game was more of a toddlers game than.. Well rap. So there i was. A man who specialized at nothing, with a particular skill of... Nothing. Sure i would eventually get a minimum wadge job here or there, making exactly enough money to pay a fonebill and transpertation, and leaving you with enuff money to wish the next payweek would hurry the hell up. Never in my dreams did I imagine tht I would be living from paycheck to paycheck. But Im not sure why I felt tht I waz privilidge enuff to escape the struggles of my past. My mother lived from paycheck to paycheck for much of my childhood. It took her years to finally find the key to pandora' box and unviel the mysteries of above poverty living and middle class luxaries. Wht leads me to believe tht I can learn from the mistakes of her past? oooooo yea of course. Its the belief tht collage will solve all of your lifes problems. Since I was a lil boy, everyone told me tht I would go to collage and make something of myself. My mother was a college drop out (pergnancy forced her to drop out) and has always stressed the importants of finishing that degree. Shes been down the very same road im treading and knows the struggles ahead. Every other day she still ( to this day) urges us to finish school) she wasnt the only one. Ive had teachers and friends, people in high places tell me tht im "college material" and tht id make something of myself. Of course im not blaming my mother or those who believed in me. That would be foolish and would be nothing more than shifting the blame of my problems to others. It all sounded good growing up tho as it should have. It made me feel invincible. It all went in my head little by little leaving, out the faint possibility that mabie they were all wrong. Tht mabie im not college material. NOOO, tht was impossible rite? After all i spent 15 years hearing and believing the very opposite. Failure was never part of the plan. But her we are now. That little kid tht was lead to believe tht he could do anything, who felt that he could do everything, finds himself doing nothing. The whispers of success and invincibility have long since passed. I am human once again. And I feel like a failure. After all anything less than a collage graduate, a Lawyer would equate to failure rite? Thats what It felt like. As a kid i made promises. I promise id buy my mom a nice house, convertable and the rest of the world. Most importabtly i promised her that I would make something of myself, tht i would make her proud. Anythibg less would equate to immediate failure. Sure the promise of the house and the car and rest of the world may not belong to her, (those kiddy promises dont way me down) but the promise to be successful is wht matters most. Being as tho im a collage dropout tht promised her the world, it feels like i failed her there. And ive felt that way for quite some time. Atleast a couple of years. Now here we are on this beautiful spring day working at a job with plenty of time to think and i doing aot of it.. Thinking. Thinking kead to this blog.. Why doesa collage degree dictate a successful life? I turn again to use my mother as an example. A hard working mother of 4 who worked her way from the bottom to the top, finding succes w/o tht piece of paper tht says diploma. Sure it was the hard way, but what in this life is easy? So after alot of thinking at this dead-end job i decided to stop thinking and take iniciative. It may come at the expense of my deploma, or may not. Who really knows? Only time will tell. What i know is this. I have to take action and begin wht is, the rest of my life. And while i have no fancy gifts for my mother or mega law degree, i do have one thing. The key to pandora, the blueprint of success your way, the way mo mother did so long ago. Only irony can explain my next series of moves in life. I plan to apply for septa, drive a bus and make good money, thts my key, the same way my mother did it so many years ago. Ooo tht pesky sense of irony. And while this plan is in the beginning stages of existence, without the security of a collage diploma, atleast im beginnin to regain control of my life once again.

HES BACK......
Srry for my absense fellow bloggers. CPU problems forced my short absense, But Poptart Bill is back n i got 15 blogs on deck which i will release 1 per 3 days, startin with the blog below called "Its 4th DOWN MR.RODGERS" a short story tht will catch ure attention. As i said before.. My blogs will rang from sports to real shit..so stay tuned cuz ur bout to get a heavy dose of the mind of Mr. Creep! Enjoy and leave feedback cuz feedback keeps us bloggers motivated!
Its 4th and goal Mr. Rodgers....
Its fourth down and goal to go. The ball is four yards from the goal line. We were trailing 21-27 and Four simple yards seperates us from victory and the playoffs. The once vivacious and energetic crowd is now left feeling subdued and hopeless. "thats the third time in a row they stopped us!" one fan said after three consecutive failed attemts resulted in a sack, and two busted plays. "put Mr. Rodgers in the game!!!" another fan screams. The panic in his voice is only supercieded by the fear of losing the game. You could feel the tension in the air as so much depends on this final play. The Coach uses his final time out. "put me in the game coach" the young half back screams before the coach could even say a word. The coach never flinches. He knew the kid would ask to be put in the game. He also knew he would ask for the ball. This is what he was born to do. Its the reason why coach even called the time out. Coach simply looked up and nodded towards him. Releaved, the young Rodgers removed his jacket, pickep up his helmet and trotted onto the field with nothing more than confident smile he was so infamious for. "halfback slam" the coach instructs his offense. "Is tht Rodgers hobbling onto the field?" said a fan who sat close to the endzone. "It is!! Its Mr. Rodgers!!!!" Screamed another estatic fan, clearly excited to see their fearless leader trot to the huddle. The stadium erupts as the fans begin to realize the return of their hero. Bewildered however, the quarterback raises his objections through his headset, "coach u think his ankle is ready for this? Mabie we should run a playaction pass instead?" The coach wasted little time asserting his confidence. "Jimmy trust me.. Hes ready. He's been ready, and hes gonna get us to the playoffs." Jimmy was an instant believer.
As the opposing team realized what the fuss was about they call their final time out in an attempt change their formation and regain their focus. They knew all about Rodgers, and they knew how dangerous of a player he was. "Trust me" Rodgers said to Jimmy as he finally reached the huddle. "you guys worked hard to get us this far. Let me handle it from here" said Rodgers as he avoided eye contact in an attempt to hide his emitions. While noone in the huddle appeared to look nervous, everyone seemed fairly confident. Rodgers looked up at his teamates and smiled, his o so infamous smile that was always seems to be followed with a victory. the rest of the team could only follow suit. They knew how hard Rodgers worked to get back to this point. Rehabbing his ankle day and night for months just for this moment. They knew he was ready. The tension that was on the field faded slowly, replaced only with confidence, with victory, and with a team full of smiles.
Both teams lined up. Both teams fighting for that final playoff spot. Both teams would put everything into this final play, but Rodgers would make the difference. "HIKE" jimmy yells, but he boggled the snap! Jimmy was poised and regained control. He handed the ball off to Rodgers effortlessly. Now its in the hands of rodgers. He ran hard but there were no holes. Everyone knew Rodgers was getting the ball, included the opposing team. But Rodgers was a fighter. He kept his legs movng and bounced it to the outside on the righthand side of the endzone. The defense was there however, as a linebacker and safety awaited. Rodgers kept his cool, turned around and reversed field. He quickly ran to the left side of the endzone, breaking tackles effortlessly and jucking defenders out of their shoes in the process. The crowd could do nothing but ooooohh and ahhhh and watch in amazement as the berry sanders clone worked his magic. "hes not human!!! Hes a freak!!! " one girl said. " i hear the trojans and gators are after him" another fan noted.
Rodgers was a mere yard away from scoring and leading his team to the playoffs. What happened after that could only be described as surreal. Again two defenders came between Rodgers and the endzone. Rodgers knew he could not risk reversing the field again. He knew he had to get into the endzone. He lowered his shoulders and plowed foward, but the big burly defensive end was not easily moved. Rodgers pumped his feet in a final effort to cross the plane, putting forth almost supernatural strenth against the defender. Another safety however dove towards Rodgers with all his might to help his struggling Defensive End. The crown of his helmet landed at the ankle of Rodgers. The same hobbled ankle that Rodgers broke just a few short months ago. The collision could be heard from miles away and instantly muted the shocked crowd. Rodgers heroics would end rite there at the one yard line as he instantly fell to the ground and fumbled the ball. The safety recovered the ball while Rodgers cradled on the grass in sheer agony. The game was over. They win and we lose. The stadium was quite. Very quiet. Not a sound could be heard but the opposing bench cheering and Rodgers crying in agony. Coach was absolutly astonished as his promise of victory fell short by a mere yard and a reinjured ankle. Jimmy alertly went over to help Rodgers off the field. Rodgers pride may have been more injured than his ankle however. "I thought i could do it" he told Jimmy. "I thought i was ready." Jimmy looked at Rodgers and smiled, his smile not so confident as it was sarcastic. "u did good Rodgers," Jimmy said, "but i told u we shoulda ran the play-action pass"

My thoughts on LeBron
I'm sure that anyone who has watched ESPN over the last year or so has heard them talking about LeBron James, with good reason. He is one of the best players in the NBA, winning things left and right, except the BIG one. He can opt out of his contract/become a free agent this upcoming summer, in what is possibly one of the biggest free agency periods in NBA history. He's still young, and he will continue to be a dominant force in the league for years to come. He's being compared to legendary players, such as Oscar Robertson, the triple double king, and Michael "Air" Jordan. He even got props from guaranteed Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal, who wants to "win a ring for the King". However, Lebron is not perfect.
He's is a great player, but he does have his flaws. I don't think he can shoot. Sure he makes a long distance shot here and there, but he is starting to be known for taking reckless shots. His drive game is incredibly dangerous. We all know he has a monster dunk. If people were able to start getting into position to take charges, rack up a couple of quick fouls and get him to start shooting. He is a great player; he isn't untouchable.
No one can deny the impact he has had on the Cavaliers. Not including the late 80's/early 90's, the Cavaliers weren't that much of a team to talk about. Then LeBron arrived, and he put that team on his back. Put them in the spotlight. I think that if Lebron left Cleveland, I think that slowly and surely, the Cavaliers would drift into an eighth-seeded type of team.
In terms of marketability, LeBron could be the next Jordan. Seriously. From a PR point of view, he is a potential gold mine. I do, however, think he was a complete asshole for wearing a Yankees cap at a Indians game. That is like a HUGE slap to the face of all Indians' fans; to have the star of their team wearing the cap of an opponent who just happens to be from a place he may possibly play. The ONLY reason any fan forgave him for that is because he could lead the Cavs to a title.
I don't think he will win it this year. I think that from the West, the Lakers and the Spurs could knock them out. From the East, I think that if the Celtics don't knock them out, the Magic will......again.
To end this, one last thought: I wish ESPN would take LeBron's dick out of their mouths......

Cougars
This is my first blog posting in a while, and I need to get back into the mix. I've noticed that I seem to attract the older ladies. It's like I secrete some type of pheromone that they can sniff out. I almost bagged one after work. I guess these women like em young and dark. I cant complain. Cougars are the women who are in the midlife crisis that wanna get their groove back. I can't blame them if they want some. I'm bout to be a cougar hunter lol.

A REAL MAN WOULD NEVER HIT HIS CHICK,...
TIME TO CHANGE THE PACE A LIL HERE FROM SPORTS TO A REAL ISSUE IN LIFE...
The one thing that i absolutly cannot stand in this world is a man who strikes a women. these men are not hardly men.. there not even boys... there sumthin beneath tht... sumthin that gets no respect in my book. I was always brought up never to strike a female, not even in a playful manor because once u open that window u may never fully close it. Im not gonna lie. I playfully hit Mo all the time.. we playfight all the time, and im even wrong for going tht far, but niggas (men, not blk men) who seriously strike a gurl for whatever reason.. is a bitch.
I donno wht comes over a guy... girls physically weaker than a guy, ddat shit juss aint cool to take advantage of tht. but the worse are the guys who take advantage of the gurls over the course of years. girls tht feel that they are trapped in an abusive relationship, PLZ get out. it doesnt matter how dependent u have become over the course of the years, your best choice is to leave tht nigga...I kno this isnt as formal as my other posts...but this had to come out
and I would never blame a chick for being a victim of abuse. people these days still blaming a female for their abusive relationships "its her fault that she never left him" "she should have hit tht nigga back" BULLLLLLSHITTTTTTT.... I will never blame a female for an abusive relationship. even if she irked or annoyed him to the max.... he needs to simply walk away or leave... deflate the situation a lil bit to the point where yall can talk again.. but never ever hit a chick
if u readin this and u ever hit a gurl... kill yourself cuzz... cuz u aint no MAN
p.s. dnt get me started on deadbeat dads.... n fact thts my next topic... see yall soon
2010 DRAFT FORMAT
unless you've lived under a shell this past weekend, you've noticed that the NFL has yet again tinkered with the draft format. this time, they may have found a winner, but I tend to disagree.
Under the new format, the draft is split into three different days. the first round is live in primetime, lasting about 3 hours, the second and third rounds are also prime time the following day, finally rounds 4-7 comes on the third and final day. the format puts emphasis on the first round, as well as the second and third rounds. while alot of people like fell in love with the new format, i would prefer the old one.
I remember the days where the fellas would circle the draft weekend on their calenders. we would buy food, cook it on our (small forman grils) have a few beers, and dig in for an entire day of draft. this event use to be for the diehards. the fans not just of their team, but of the sport. people looked foward to 12 hours of draft coverage, sports talk, and having a good time. the new format really takes away from the diehards like myself, made an annual event of draft weekend.
other than that the new format is solid. for those who cant sit around for an entire day and watch draft coverage, the new primetime format allows for you to tune in and see the big names get taken off the board. Goddell also allowed for former legends to announce the former team's pick, which was excellent idea and was cool to watch. the format could use some inprovements however.
- the idea of allowing NFL legends to announce their teams pic was a good idea. they should continue with that into next year as it gives the draft an added level of interest. but they should expand on this idea. as Adam Schafler twittered earlier, Goddell should auction off those pics announcements for charities of need such as MAKE-A-WISH. this would add a positive spin to the draft and would be beneficial to those in need.
- The idea of three days of draft seems to be a bit much to me. I had almost zero interest in the third day. with the old 2 day scheme, the fourth round and 5th rounds had more of an appeal. by the third day this year (4th round) it seemed like all of the good players were gone and it was nothing worth watching. **nothing could be further than the truth, as this was the deepest draft in years** I believe the best way to improve this would be to invite players for days two and three. Big name players that we KNO wont get drafted day one. But if you invite players for every day tht would be worth watching every day.
All n all, the new format is beneficial for the NFL and brings in a bigger audience, since it shortens the actual time per day. although I would prefer the old 2 day format, the 3 day format is juss as interesting.
State of the Eagles 2010

Well after a long offseason, the NFL Draft is complete and the 2010 season is only 4 short months away :-/..... ok that may be a while, but for the diehard fans, theres mini camps, training camp, and of course preseason that will hold you over which all starts in one short month. I figure now is the perfect time to address the state of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Recap: The Eagles ended the season with a 6 game winning streak before falling to the hands of the Dallas Cowboys and falling to 11-5. The loss dropped the eagles from second in the conference to 6th, and a wildcard rematch with the Cowboys, where they would again fall to the cowboys, in what would be franchise QB Donovan McNabb's final game as an Eagle.
Recap analysis The cowboys completely manhandles the birds, causing for the offseason's rebuilding of the birds. McNABB had no time in the pocket, and the eagles could not muster any pressure. both games were all time lows in eagles history
Offseason:It was a house clearing for the birds, as they would release several big names, including B.Westbrook, K. Curtis, W. Witherspoon, S. Andrews, and J. Trotter .They also made some key trades, trading R. Brown to the Bucs, C. Gocong and S.Brown to the Browns. Finally, they traded McNabb to their division foe Redskins. They also added Dyrell Tapp and Ernist Sims to solify key needs.
Offseason Recap: seen the rebuilding job comming for years. still thought McNabb had years left in the tank, but u cant keep the nxt franchise Qb waiting can you? dont agree with trading sheldon brown or releasing w. witherspoon. left major holes at their positions. Andrews more liability than help. love the ernie sims signing.
Draft: the eagles trade down from 24 to 13, pass on safety stud e. thomas, and DE draft brandon graham, pass on another safety t. mays, nab n. allen, proceed to trade another half dozen times before settling on a slew of defensive help with a couple of corners, lbs and corners.
analysis: the eagles wanted graham... and they got their guy, a lil expensive tho as they gave away both their 3rd round pics to get him in wht many considered the deepest draft in 20 years. would have prefered e. thomas, but not too upset. I think they did too much wheeling and dealing at the end of the day. they ended up with a sluw of 4th n 5th rounders. good guys but not guys thats gonna step in rite away and contribute, in the third round u had guys that could. think the eagles outsmarted themselves here, give them a B. like their pics but they coulda got more quality talent with the pics they had.
Final Analysis: the eagles may deny that they are rebuilding, but the writing is on the wall. This team is young, fast, and pretty good, but lack depth at the linebacker and cornerback positions. Espically CB.. I dnt see A. Samual on this team nxt year (beefin with reid, mcdermit) so they should address that position very soon. the offense is young and explosive, but did not address the offensive line as aggressively as I thought they would. could be a problem for Kolb against aggressive defensive defenses.
Kolb will not be the primary key for the eagles to be successful in 2010, it will be the defense. They addressed the lack of a pass rush by adding Graham, who can immediatly step in opposite t. Cole and be effective. Adam Sheftler even went so far as to predict tht Graham will be the defensive rookie of the year. well jus have to wait n see as for the offensive. Kolb and Jackson had a solid connection in their short time playing together, thats a good sign. Mccoy was a solid rookie last year and the eagles will need him to continue that success, The eagles need a power running game, eldra bunkly needs touches with mccoy. once again, a high scoring offensive is in the works.
HONESTLY.. i see this team as an 8-8 team.
a young team and a tuff schedule is never a good mix... and their schedule is tuff the tail end of tht schedule features dal(x2) nyg(x2) indy, and Minn. Theres also alot of young new faces there. these guys need a year or 2 to gel and become the solid unit they they've been for the last decade. I think we need to make one more addition to the team. D. Sharper, who lead the league in interceptions last year is still available. that would be a solid pick up to help out a struggling defense.

NFL Draft
Although the draft has not yet concluded i'm already seeing the Buffalo Bills are as dissappointing as ever. Most of this is on a personal note.
1. First pick of the draft was a shocker and half shell. C.J. Spiller of clemson, apparently he has some skill in kick returning oh wait we already have two of the top returners, oh well then obviously we need the running game, wait we already have a 1000 yrd rusher with a inept line and a backup rb who hits grannys car after her warm milk has put her to sleep. But with the drafting of a RB Marshawn is prolly likely to be traded then.... oh wait buffalo gm says he's not trading Lynch which would back log a postion which has no F'n Line to block. Oh by the way people would needed and could have got.... Anthony Davis T for Rutgers, Brian Bulaga T Iowa and not to mention the Defensive Ends since they obviously wanted one. See pick three for details.
2. Second round they once again tried to go after something they need which was a Huge nose tackle which they'll need in the new 3-4 defense Torrell Troupe. I don't hate this pick but with Lamar Houston and Terrece Mt. Cody still on the board. And don't tell me right now the Cody could fill the middle of a line, not to mention troupe didn't face SEC talent all the time and he didn't beat the crap out a Texas Longhorn offensive line like Cody did. Let me say this though i think Troupe will be fine.
3.Now Comes the worse pick in Bills fucking history and not for any reason other than personal and just shear stupidity. Okay i'm not saying a 6'5 285 lbs Alex Carrington is a bad choice i'm saying it's a stupid choice. The bills have settled with a rotation in the DE for a long time now and it hasn't hurt. So this fills no desperate need. And since the bills D was 19th in the league last year and it was def not the Dline fault it makes no since to me. SINCE COLT FUCKIN MCCOY was on the damn board still and anyone bills fan or any fan that thinks were set at the QB postion is a loon and should be commited for insanity. OH and did i mention our offense was 30th in the league last year IN A QB HAPPY LEAGUE FUCK I HATE BUFFALO. Just for those who don't know i wanted Colt McCoy more than i wanted to get laid this year.

Now there is one thing that really pisses me off. I mean REALLY pisses me off. And that's when people go back on their word. If you say you will do something, then do it. Be mature, be grown, and stay true to their word. In my opinion, its the biggest smack in the face when someone doesn't hold true to their word.
I was supposed to go out this afternoon, just to get something to eat. I was supposed to go with this chick. She was getting off of work, and I was getting out of school, so we agreed to meet up so that we could get something to eat. It had kept getting pushed back and pushed back. So I was ready to go around the time we agreed.
Needless to say, we didn't meet up. She said she was going to call me, and she didn't. I haven't heard from her since, and I called her and texted her. This is some childish bullshit......and I was rightfully pissed off.
In my eyes, my trust doesn't come easily. So if you say you will do something, and you renege, that trust is damn near gone!!!

NFL
Well folks i got a beef. I am getting sick and tired of NFL players, actually any sport athlete acting like a giant douche! With all the money you make are you telling me you can't figure out where and when you shouldn't go out. Stop clubbing, stop going to strip clubs. YOUR RICH build one i your back yard and call it a tree house. Do back ground checks on all the pigeons that be coming, and all the thugs you think are your friends. OI. I was happy to see Pittsburgh get rid of Holmes after another substance abuse charge on him. And it's not all their fault people (crazy bitches at clubs) get a job and stop blaming athletes for raping you. I'm pretty sure any compensate person who realize HE"S A FUCKIN PRO ATHLETE he don't need to rape bitches.
And on a lil side note, I got a part time job didn't really want one but at least i can save up for the Jersey trip. It's at the public library and i gotta saw never have i got paid for doing so little in my entire life, IT"S NICE.

in the life of a Diesel
Well I'm back, hope everyone had a nice Easter. Things seem to be pretty busy as of late i just got a job at the library, which doesn't pay much or give a lot of hours (which i don't mind) but it will give me money to save up for the Jersey trip (if it happens). And i get to work with the girl I'm crushing on, BIG plus there right. My first day was pretty boring and i don't expect it to get any better i got the most cake walk job I've ever heard of, unless we count wal-mart greeters as a job of course. But like i said its just a job for money so i can get my drink on in jersey.
I spent my Easter in Syracuse at my friends Aunts house because she took us in last week when we went and saw the sweet 16 and elite 8 games. Which i will add if your a sports fan SEE MARCH MADNESS live it's pretty damn cool. So i went up there and met more of their family, good people on all accords and the womens can cook so it was all good.
Then i Find out the Eagles traded McNabbers to the mofo Redskins. I mean what the fuck is wrong with them, McNab has got numbers like top 5 numbers maybe top 10, I know a team has to rebuild once in a while but you don't treat a guy who has played his guts out for you for ten years like that. Unless he's a Diva like Brett Favre then you can treat him like donkey shit. And not only do you trade him you trade him to a already dangerous redskins team yea that's all portis needs is a passing game behind him. And even if you don't trust portis shannahan could make me into a 1000 yrd rusher. so what i'm trying to say is COME ON.
Watched the first game last night Yankees vs Boston of course. And low and behold those donkey raping shit eaters beat us. i don't like it but i'm not really worried either bullben needs to work out some bugs. Plus the redsox beat us the first 8 games they played the yankees and i'm pretty sure they got a ring outta the deal. so if losing to boston let's us win championships i'll take it. C.C. looked good until his pitch count got about 80 plus then he just gave up some nasty hits. i think the real blame goes on the bull pen you gotta come in and stop them shut them down and between robertson, park, marte and chamberlin they just couldn't but it's the first game.
Well that's it for today folks. On a side note though if the Bills follow pancakes mock i'ma drive to buffalo and rip out someones endocrine system.

WHAT ARE THEY THINKING????
FOR YEARS I HAVE PRAISED THE EAGLES FOR BEING ONE OF THE ELITE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE NFL, HOW THEY HANDLED THEIR BUSINESS HAS ONLY BEEN RIVALED BY THE LIKES OF THE PATROITS, STEELERS AND THE COLTS. BUT TODAY.... TODAY THAT ALL CHANGED.... SOMEONE TELL ME HOW YOU TRADE THE TEAMS MOST IMPORTANT, AND VITAL PLAYER OVER THE COURSE OF THE LAST TEN YEARS...TO A DIVISION RIVAL?? THE REDSKINS?????? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??? YOU GUYS REALLY OUTDONE YOURSELVES... YOU'VE JUST MADE YOUR DIVISION RIVAL A BETTER TEAM THAN YOU, AND NOW WE'LL BE FIGHTING FOR THIRD PLACE ATLEAST.... WHY ARE THEY BLOWING THIS TEAM UP?? THIS WAS ESTABLISH PLAYOFF CONTENDER.... AND OVER THE LAST 2 YEARS, THEY TRADED OR RELEASED, BOTH SKILL AND LEADERSHIP... NOT TO MENTION HEART. THIS IS NOT SLAP IN THE FACE TO KOLB.. I ONLY CAN PREY THAT HE PANS OUT, BUT TO TRADE AN ELITE QB TO YOUR RIVAL IS....DUMB... THERE WAS A REASON WHY THE PACKERS DEMANDED THE IMPOSSIBLE FROM THE VIKINGS 3 YEARS AGO WHEN THEY INQUIRED ABOUT FARVE.... U DNT TRADE SUPERIOR TALENT INBETWEEN YOUR OWN DIVISION.... IF THE EAGLES DIDNT GET A FIRST ROUND PICK FROM THE REDSKINS...THIS TEAM IS DEAD TO ME.... JUST LIKE THOUSANDS OF FANS... THE EAGLES LOST MY RESPECT AND LOVE... AND THERE GONNA HAVE TO EARN IT BACK... AFTER 10 YEARS OF SUPERIOR PLAY, THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN WIN OUR HEARTS BACK IS WITH A SUPERBOWL...PERIOD
PS....DUMBASSES....
PS....DUMBASSES....

Ladies an Gentlemen it's ya boi Pancakes an Syrup. I'm here to tell ya its that time again, yessir the NFL DRAFT!!!! So I figure imma get in the spirit an bring yall my first eva MOCK DRAFT. However picking these players for all 32 teams is challenging so imma break it up into three different post so without further ado the St Louis Rams are on the clock!

St. Louis - Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
I kno everyone is callin fo Suh but fo real Marc Bulger sucks. The Qb position has never been the same since Warner left so this pick will inject new life into the team an the organization giving them a franchise Qb fo a decade.

Detroit - Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
I know I know, by now your probably like WTF Pancakes an Syrup wheres ndonkey kong Suh (take a long look at that man tell me u cant see his ass throwing barrels at Mario) But fo real hear me out the Lions need a play maker on the d-line. An Gerald McCoy grades out to be a more explosive athlete than suh. More explosion = more big plays.

Tampa Bay - Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
There he is Suh goes number 3 to the Bucs an man are they happy to pick this man up. The DT position in Tampa has been a revolving door of mediocrity Suh gives them that big play ability being able to play the run an pass.

Washington - Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma St.
Mike Shanahan came in an cleaned house in Washington, he released one of his pro bowl guards an his pro bowl left tackle was forced to retire to injury. I know how bad he wants a QB but Okung is the smart move right now.

Kansas City - Eric Berry, DB, Tennessee
Well they got there QB, there offensive line due to some free agency pickups is now worlds better and they got Thomas Jones. With these moves they now have the flexibility to go an get themselves a leader on defense

Seattle - Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa
With the acquisition of Whitehurst from San Diego the Seahawks can address there most pressing need that is OT. With the career of Walter Jones in the air the offensive line needs new life, so this would be the pick new head coach Pete Carrol will hang his hat on.

Cleveland - Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
With Sam Bradford an Eric Berry off the board the Browns go an get them a franchise Qb(Cause we ALL know Jake Delhomme fucking blows)Clausen will help bring this organization outta the dark ages an give Mike Holmgren an Mangini something to look forward too.

Oakland - Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland
Heh he had a really good combine nothing else to say (SECOND ROUND TALENT)

Buffalo - Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama
This is probably my first pick off the beaten paths of mock draft picks but I could defiantly see this pick happening. While buffalo as usual needs offenseive line help they are also switching to a 3-4 def an I think McClain can come in day one an make plays for them, lead the defense, an sure up a shaky position.

Jacksonville - Earl Thomas, DB, Texas
With the acquisition of Aaron Kampman (We miss you in title town man *tear*) and the re-signing of Hayward the Jags are at least mediocre at the defensive end position. and choose not to adress the defensive end position with the number 10 pick instead they address the safety position where Reggie Nelson is sucking up it up hard! Picking Earl Thomas adds instant energy to the safety position giving the jags a nice young leader an a tremendous athlete.
Aight everyone that's my top 10 in the draft tell me what ya think. check back later for picks 11 - 21
an always its

Work
Before I start, I haven't blogged in about a week, and I apologize for that. It's been a busy week. Now on to the blog.....
This is about my day at work today. I usually don't complain about work, because I only work three days a week. Now I wasn't expecting anything special, nor was I expecting the day to be as crazy as it was.
I knew things would be weird from the beginning when I found out that the little Asian was literally staying from open to close. And I knew I was going to be pissed when the big-titty having manager said this to me: "Kyle, can you make that [cleaning the oven] quick? I have to bake cookies". Mind you, I had already taken the oven apart.
After that, it hit me that me and the little Asian would be closing with, quite possibly, the 2nd slowest worker I have ever worked with. He is 2nd only to the legendary Water Buffalo. This dude so slow, he walk like Bruh Man from the fif flo (holding up 4 fingers). And I swear this dude is stupid, its like common sense is non-existent!!
I think the only positive thing of my day today was when the Penn track athletes came in. I swear, I couldn't concentrate the whole time the three of them were in the store. But as soon as they left, it all came crashing down. The moronic customers returned with a vengeance. Long story short, we locked the doors later than usual, and it almost took us two hours to close. And I gotta do it all again tomorrow. But its all good, because Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and the Shaolin Monk of the West will be reunited. For a while at least.
That's enough of this rant. I'll get at you folks tomorrow.

O THE SEXY LADIES....

Another recycled blog from the past that i wanted to include on Blogohol but one thts worth it none the less. (Mo I must apologize in advance for this one. )
This is outta fun though, and if you guys ever read any of my writing before, you guys know that I like to do bang out alot of top 5's and top 10's. so heres my first Top 5 for of Blogohol!!
give me the 5 sexiest females on the planet. thats rite, the planet! who stands out in your head rite now as juss absolutly bonified sexxy? who got it all the body, personality, whatever it doesnt matter if u think they sexxy put em on this list rite here. Ill start this one off. (P.S. if u got a gurl dnt include them plz.. we know tht your girl is ya number one. MINES SURE IS LOL. but for the sake of intregrity and respect, lets keep our gurls, wives or anything off this list please, thx) also, IF you do give your top 5, u dnt have to comment behind ever name like I did (if you want to, be my guest!) if you wanna leave just the list of the 5 sexiest girls, do so because that was the original intention, lol
TOP SEXXIEST GIRLS IN America?? NO!! THE WORLD!!!!
5. Holly Berry (Actress)- alot of people would look at me crazy for puttin Holly so high up on this list, shes beautiful, smart, got mad sex appeal, all that good stuff. the only reason why shes so high is because of that catwomen movie... srry tht was a terrible movie yall... while she fit the suit pretty good... there was not one mention of Batman... bad reason to put her at 5? mabie the other girls before are a little better
4. Beyonce Carter....i mean Knowles (Singer)- B always had it since destonies child... but after she broke away from the kiddy stuff her career blew up and so did she.. bodywise shes the total package... i dnt think anyone can argue..unless your completely crazy. legs, thighs, chest, booty for emergency purposes, shes stack without question. they say money is an attractive feature... well she got tht too. shes prolly the biggest female name in the hip hop world PERIOD and her name is household. yea she messin wit HOV but its not like she needs the brotha.. she bringing home the bacon just like brotha Carter. She seems independent and sturdy and shes just about the total package. While i never thought she had the prettiest face, EVERYTHING ELSE about her is A+
3. Candace Paker (Athlete) theres sumthing about a women tht plays ball tht gives them an added bonus in my book. mabie because I love my sports and I love women, and you put the 2 together and you have like this super women, lol Candace Parker always had a natural beauty to me that allowed her on this list. There arnt too many women out there that could run up and down a court for an hour, sweating up a storm and still look sexy. growing up as a kid i always had a thing for the lightskin girls, and that she is. Shes a tall, athlete cute girl with alot going on and is the star of the WNBA, she could quit rite now and instantly become a successful actress just off of looks alone.
2. Gabrielle Union (Actress/Model) I took me an extra 15 minutes to write this post because i was debating if Union was my number 2 or number 1. either or, she one of the sexxiest women that ever lived. Her acting is good, but leaves u wanting more from her, but she is without question one of the most underrated african american females actresses that ever existed. Am I giving her too much credit? yea I probably am but lets face t fellas, she is BADDDD!!!!! i couldnt put her any higher than number 2 on this list and for so long shw was numero uno.
1. Alicia Keys (Singer) Keys is the queen of RNB and is talented in many ways, she can sing, writes amazing music, she can play the piano, and can even rap a little. and to top it all off, she makes it look way too easy. but lets face it. Alicia Keys may be the most beautiful women on the planet hands down.beautiful redbone (tht term sounds so dirty) with a perfect body, u dnt even need to break her down. but her half of her beautiful is her music without question. she made some of best RnB over the last 8-10 years.

KPS: O LETS DO IT!!!!!
Growing up I knew I was gonna have close friends...but I didnt end up wit any....instead I ended up with a brotherhood. For 11 years dis brotherhood has had an unbreakable bond and its getting stronger and stronger as days go by. It started with the first four graduating from the same high school, now its twice as stronger with new brothers added to the brotherhood. Alot of people don't have what we have because their are people who don't give a shit about nobody but themselves. Not us...we look out for one another and thats the reason this bond between every single last one of us is strong. This is brotherhood is 11 years strong and has gotten stronger in the last two years with the addition of new brothers...and this is just the beginning!!!!!
We've done many things in life as individuals like travel to other states, join frats, played basketball tourneys, football leauques, etc. and we also did things as a brotherhood like movies, arcade, play pool, play video games, etc. but I say we step it up a notch. I say we do something BIG like HISTORIC...yea it may sound crazy and I don't kno what the hell to do or have any ideas yet but why da hell not. We are all smart individuals and we can accomplish everything together. So call me crazy but why not give it a shot and try to do something big.....like what???? i don't have a clue but who gives a shit....I just like the idea.
So what do you say....you know what I say.....O LETS DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

Left Out
I feel just terrible, the KPS clan has played many Halo 2, Halo 3, Call of Duty and countless College Football games together. Yet When one of the clan gets together to start a blog, guess who's left out. The old white guy. Lucky for me Pancakes pities me and i got an invite to share my thoughts as well.
I shall start my blog out with some bright sun shine then maybe mix in some disgusting thoughts.
First today was a beautiful day i don't know how warm it got but it was enough that i should have been wearing shorts and not blue jeans. What did i do with this glorious weather i played catch with my friend. Baseball will soon be upon us is full and we have been playing nothing but baseball. The Yankees are my favorite team. And i proclaim once again the yanks will meet the philly's in the world series. Also i hate boston i hate boston a lot and if i had the money i'd buy fenway and burn it to the ground selling the ashes on ebay.
On a more negative note, i was reading a report on yahoo eariler about a church group protesting in front of soldiers funerals. That's right their funerals not some government building, not some military base. Why you ask simply because they think our men are dying because we don't kill homosexuals and other people who go against Christians. I even saw one sign that said God loves Dead soldiers, i'm not gonna lie i almost vomited. I'm def. all for the first amendment and such, so i move we get an amendment that lets us kick these peoples asses.
Well that will do it for today i think, i'll have to do more research on various sporting interest before i go off at the mouth. I will say this though there are reports that Colt McCoy might go to buffalo in the second round. HERES HOPING

My Dilenma!!
Well today was funny and it's only 4pm. So if you don't know by now cornbread jones loves the pussy and I like to have sex with no strings attached and i usually find women who like the same thing. Recently I came across a girl that did not fit the bill, but against everything I stand for I kept her around. So when she starts acting strange about taking the dick what am I suppose to think? Do you think I fell for the same game that I run or is it that I like this girl enough to care about what she thinks about me..........I'm cornbread jones everyone and this is my dilenma and I have no clue what to do!!!
Name Change
even before the bloggin started the one thing we all wanted to do was establish a solid memorable name.. REAL TALK hits on exactly what we will be talking about, but it lack originally as Monique pointed out to me. with that being said, Mr. Pancakes came up with an amazing and seemingly original name and even added a slogan to go with it.
BLOGOHOL: TAKE A SIP OF WHAT WE'RE THINKING
I personally love the Blogohol idea, but a name change has to be approved by all bloggers. let us kno!!!!!

Hey everyone its ya boy Pancakes an Syrup, I noticed that probably 70-80% of the posts are a little negative. AMERICA let me assure that is not our intention at Real Talk, we wanna keep it positive light an upbeat roun here. So imma bring some positive energy into the room.

Symir and the idea of having a child by POPTART BILL

My newest little nephew was born a couple of weeks ago. His name is Symir, and he is one of the most beautiful and precious gifts that god could have ever given to my sister. I feel at odds however about our recent little addition to the family. I feel closer to Symir than I feel towards any of my other nieces and nephews. I love them all the same, don't get me wrong, from Maal-Maal and chuck chuck, and man man, all the way down to Symir and Jordan, they all get luv from me. And i'm glad that my brothers and sisters has given this family a nice firm young generation to carry all of our names into the future, even after our lives have past. But there's something about Symir. In the past, when one of my nieces or nephews were born I was either at school, or too young to truly get attached Like I have with Symir. With Symir, I was at the hospital when he was born. It felt like I was rite there the entire step of the way.
This gives little Symir a connection that I never had with any of my nieces and nephews. But there's even more to it than just being in the hospital while he was born. Before Symir, all of my nieces and nephews were birthed by older brothers and sisters of mine. In my mindset, these siblings have always looked out and protected me. Symir is the first nephew of mines born by my LITTLE sister, the sibling that I have watched over and protected my entire life. Anika has always been the mature kid between me and my youngest brother. It doesn't shock me that she is the first of us to take on one of the biggest responsibilities that life has to offer. Even though she has been the maturest of my mom's youngest kids, I still feel the natural impulse to protect. Thats why I believe that I'm so attached to little Symir. Yes he's cute and adorable, but he's my little sister's first child. I feel the need to protect him the same way I feel the need to protect Anika. In the past I have instinctually back-peddled away from holding newborn infants. I always felt that they would be safer away from me. I didn't want to hold them the wrong way, or squeeze them too tight. But with Symir, that is not the case. I enjoy holding the little guy. its amazing really. I just find the idea of my little sister having her first child fascinating.
Symir has generated a feeling within me that I never truely taken seriously in my entire life; The idea of having a child. Over the last couple of months, the idea has swirled in my head over and over, A BABY CREEP IN THE NEAR FUTURE??!?!?!?!. I mean, why not rite? Almost all of my brothers and sisters have at least a child, my best friend has a child (little Tony is adorable btw). I look on Facebook and all my high-school classmates have a child or children, posting the cutest and most adorable pictures you'll find on the internet. My cousins also have children. Everywhere I look there is an army of children around me. Shouldn't I be blessed with the gift of birth as well? After all, I don't want to wait until im too old to have a child do I?
While all this may be well and true, there's something about the idea of planning the birth of a child that trumps all other feelings. Now please do not mistake what I just said for anything other what I meant. having a child unexpectedly is one of god's precious surprises in life. If it turns out that Monique gets pregnant, I will be happy and filled with joy and will be ready and willing to make any changes and sacrifices necessary. I however, do not feel that I am quite ready for such a responsibility at the moment. I always said that I want to be financial stable before we bring a child into this world. That doesn't mean that I have to be rich, hit the lottery, or make partner in Philly's biggest law-firm. I just need to be able to provide for myself before I can provide for others. That is an ability that my sisters and brothers have that I do not. I also wanted to be living on my own before bringing a child into this world. Since I am still living in the basement of my mother and step-father's house, that goal hasn't been accomplished either. Basically, I feel that I need to grow a little more in life before the child baring phase can begin. These goals may not be attained before I have my first kid. I can honestly say that there's only two people that have set forth their goals and accomplished them before having their child; and their living in Denver in grad school with a newborn of their own. If these goals are not attained, its cool, but the idea of a planned pregnancy is my idea.
Well i've went on long enough about my nephew and my ideas. I'll let you get back to your lives. Thanks for stopping in and reading. I'll be back either tomorrow or Friday with another post in REAL TALK.

Guess what.............. I'M PISSED!!!!
Hello ladies an gentleman its ya boy Pancakes an Syrup a.k.a. ying an yang a.k.a. milk an cereal, an Man am I pissed today. Lemme tell yall bout it. I'm a college student, live in an apartment an have two roommates (R.I.P. Creep Creezie we miss over here on southside). For privacy I will change their names roommate A will be known as Big Red and roommate B will be known as Steroidious. Real "Sports" Talk: 2010 Draft Class
Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to REAL "SPORTS" TALK. I am your host Darizard and our first topic of sports talk on the REAL "SPORTS" TALK SHOW is the most talked about sports event in the past few months.....THE NFL DRAFT!!!!!
There has been many debates on who the number one pick will be in the draft. Many mock drafts thought that DT's Gerald Mccoy or Mr. I don't know how to pronounce his name, Ndamukong Suh. But FINALLY they came back to reality realizing that the NFL has developed into a quarterback game.
The St. Louis Rams quarterback is 32 year old Marc Bulger who hasn't had a good season since 2006 going 24:8 td:int ratio throwing over 4,000 yards. Rams need to start rebuilding their franchise after their embarrasing 1-15 season and who else better to do it with than a quarterback Sam Bradford. If the rams decide to pass on Sam Bradford, which I highly doubt they will decide to do, many mock drafts will look like many NCAA March Madness Tourney Brackets.
Dez Bryant, WR out of Oklahoma State been having some character issues in the past year and his Pro Day wasn't no Oooo's and Ahhhh's. Instead coaches ended up with more questions than answers. Bryant showed great hands and great explosion from his leap jump but ran an ugly 4.54 in his 40 yard dash. His Pro Day might of hurted him more than help him and might be climbing down the draft, maybe the late teens or perhaps the early twenties.
Eric Berry is the best DB in this years draft class therefore he is a top 10 pick but where will he end up is the question? I say the clevland browns. Holmgren said he's not going after a quarterback in the first round so I expect him to take the best player left on the board and that will be Eric Berry.
Joe Haden is the best Cornerback in the draft. Why would I say this. Well he can cover, o yea and tackle, and he ran his 40 at his pro day on grass better than many did at the combine....o did I mention he ran it when it was raining.
Taylor Mays will get drafted in the twenties by the Eagles if they decide to draft him to replace a well missed Brian Dawkins. However the eagles may pass on him for Carlos Dunlap who I consider the best DE in the draft. Once his motor starts running their is no stopping it. If the Eagles pass on Taylor Mays, I expect him to be drafted by the Vikings who is in need of help in the secondary.
Well that is all for now for this year 2010 Draft Class Topic. I'm your host Darizard, stay tuned for more REAL "SPORTS" TALK ACTION!!!!! IT'S ON TO DA NEXT ONE........

*quainie i got u in my prayers brotha, its gonna be cool, hang tuff n hakuna matata. u gonna be just fine
I get it from my mom.....
I was doing some thinking earlier, and I discovered something. Anyone who knows me, knows that one of my biggest character flaws is my procrastination. I procrastinate on many things, in almost every situation. However, I learned its origins. Last night, I was completing my FAFSA. I got to the part where my parent's tax information was required. This is how our conversation went...
Me: I need your tax info for my FAFSA
Mom: I didn't file yet
Me: (Looking at calendar date) You didn't file yet?
Mom: No. I will soon
*We all know that April 15th is the due date*
Me: Well, where is your info?
Mom: Somewhere in here
That's when it hit me. My mom is a bigger procrastinator than I am.....It explains a lot now that I think about it.
That's my thought of the day...I'll have more soon/

Pissing me OFF!

Well hello everyone its ya boy Pancakes an Syrup a.k.a. Eggs an Bacon a.k.a. French an Toast an I would like to welcome you to Real Talk. Its fancy new blog set up by the young gentlemen of KPS. Here at Real Talk we wanna set up a space where we can say whatever the HELL we like so...... lemme start it off with my first rant.
I wanna talk about them philly birds. You see it in the headlines, right? They tryin to trade D-mac wit xtra cheese to the highest bidder. Now I ask you why? This man has suffered through all the slings, arrows, an cows thrown at him in philly. an the only thing he has done was produce for yall. Especially with next to no talent. Granted he had Westbrook, but the dynamic duo could only do so much(shit even batman an Robin got smacked around like some bitches) an for a super brief period of time Mcnabb had T.O. droppy ballz. With those two pieces of talent an a blitz happy defense that often landed them in trouble he managed to get them to the superbowl (an shit I forgot T.O. got hurt midway through the year so it was back to the dynamic duo) But fuck all that its a new day, its 2010, we all got healthcare (OBAMA!), an I got an A on my history of English language test, in short things change. WRONG! Right now Mcnabb coming off a top ten Qb year (3,553 yds an 22tds) surrounded by the MOST talent he has EVER had is about to lose his job to some guy from Houston, who probably can't even spell Texas. AN THAT SHIT IS PISSING ME OFF! So people ask me " don't the Eagles have a great front office?" I respond "yes they do", an truthfully they do. Heres the situation right now with the philly Qbs all three of them have 1 year left on there deal. They got Mcnabb, Kolb, an Vick, due to our friend the salary cap(which may or may not be around) one of those guy are gonna stay an the other two are splitsville. To make matters worse all three want long term deals. This puts the Eagles in a pickle. If they try to resign one an tag one it may cost the eagles around 30 mil just to have two of the three on the roster.(Frachise tag costing round 20 mil, while the long term deal prob coming out to around 10 mil) So the Eagles are doing what any mildly intelligent organization (except the raiders *Fucking Idiots*) is doing an they doing it for a meager second round pick giving away a pro bowl calibur Qb. After reading this side of the argument, it makes complete sense what the Eagles are doing I applaud it, it is a smart move. BUT I'M STILL PISSED!!!! Them bastards just reload that offense to be a fucking playground, they got everything over there a big ass offensive line, running backs, pass catching tight end, and receivers that can go yard on the jump. everything Mcnabb could ever need but to bad we trading you bye now thanks for your years of service. In closing all I gotta say is Mcnabb good luck, I aint even a phily fan but I was pulling for you to get a ring and for god sakes stop sitting in the damn pocket and run don't abandon the thing that made you famous. Mr Kolb you spell Texas like this T-E-X-A-S. an Mike Vick never do a show for B.e.t. that is by far the dumbest thing I have ever seen in my life. an thats it im not as pissed but I'm pretty sure somethings gonna piss me off later
It's ya boy

Breaking the Ice
First things first: I gotta give my man Owie props for putting this thing together. Seems like it's gonna a lot of fun if we stay up with it. It seems like this blog will cover all bases; on some real, i could see this thing developing into something greater. My finger doesn't hurt as much, and I do not think it will need stitches. It should begin closing up in a lil bit. i just gotta keep it covered and with Neosporin on it. Not stressing though. Bout to find some insurance, fill out this FASFA, and wait until Chad Ochocinco does his routine on Dancing With The Stars. That's all for now.....I'm sure that I will find more things to blog about.
